Baptisms

Danielle and I are members of Queen of Peace. Both of our children (Zachary age 5 and Catherine age 3) were Baptized at Queen of Peace. Sad to say we don’t have any good pictures of their Baptisms. Since we were on the Altar; we could not photograph their Baptisms. We hoped that our friends and relatives would be able to take a least a couple of decent pictures with their digital slr cameras and our professional cameras. Unfortunately, the pictures that our friends and family took were not very good at all.

Danielle and I have been photographing Baptisms at Queen of Peace since 2004. We photograph the “Sacrament of Baptism” following a strict protocol set up by the Church; this allows us to get great pictures without interfering with the ceremony. Having photographed over one hundred events at Queen of Peace (Baptisms, Weddings, First Communions, Graduations, Christmas Mass, Easter Mass); we have lots of experience at Queen of Peace. We will capture beautiful pictures of your child’s Baptism.

There is no charge for us to photograph your child’s Baptism. Unless we have a wedding, bridal show, or portrait session; we will probably be at the 10:00 AM Sunday Mass at Queen of Peace to photograph the Baptisms. If your Baptism is scheduled for a mass other than the Sun 10:00 AM, we will not be there unless you contact us. If you want to be sure we are at your child’s Baptism, please contact us at least one week prior to the Baptism. The best way to contact us is to fill out our “Baptism Information Form“. We will email and call you to confirm that we have received it.

If you want to have Family Portraits taken after Mass, you MUST contact us ahead of time. We will not bring our “Studio Lighting” and studio camera unless we know you want family portraits taken.

After the Baptism, if you have contacted us; can view the Baptism pictures taken during Mass at our Studio or OnLine (there is fee for on line viewing). There is no obligation to purchase any pictures from the Baptism.

Directions:

If your child has already been Baptized or will be Baptized fill out the “Baptism Information Form“.
If you want Family Portraits taken after Mass on the day of the Baptism, contact us at least one week prior to the day of the Baptism.
After the Baptism, contact us to let us know if you would like to see the pictures in our Studio or On Line.
